Stamford resident Schneidy Schutte, 20, who has a previous conviction for sexual assault and was ordered to register as a sex offender, has been charged with failure to register his address after a recent move.
Schutte was first arrested in Stamford in July 2017 and sentenced to a term of nine months in prison. He was also required to register as a sex offender for 10 years following his release. He was ordered to report his address every 90 days, but has failed to do so for nearly a year, leading to his arrest.
Following his arrest, Schutte is being held in custody in lieu of $50,000 bond. No return court date has been announced.
